HANOI CITY TO CEBERATE 70 YEARS OF THE CAPITAL’S LIBERATION

In recent days, Hanoi has been immersed in Autumn with a clear blue sky, bright golden sunlight, and gentle breezes. This serene atmosphere offers a comforting sense of peace to those living in the capital. Furthermore, many streets have been beautifully decorated with national flags, banners, and flowers in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the city's liberation on October 10th.

Today, let Asian Moonlight Travel – one of the top travel agencies in Vietnam give you a brief glimpse into the beauty of the capital.

Tens of thousands of people, both locals and visitors from abroad, are expected to take part in the Cultural Festival for Peace in the capital this October. This festival is part of a series of cultural events celebrating the 70th anniversary of Hà Nội's Liberation Day on October 10. Scheduled to take place over one day in Hoàn Kiếm District, the festival will feature three arenas showcasing the beauty and richness of the Thăng Long Citadel. The festivities will include vibrant drum performances, flag dances, and traditional dragon and kylin dances.

The festival is also a chance to celebrate the 1014th anniversary of King Lý Thái Tổ’s decision to move his capital from Hoa Lư (Ninh Bình) to Thăng Long, now Hà Nội.

Events during the festival will be held on the main stage at the King Lý Thái Tổ Monument site and smaller stages at Bà Kiệu Temple Garden, Đông Kinh Nghĩa Thục Square, and the Lê Thái Tổ - Bà Triệu - Tràng Thi - Hàng Khay intersection.

Additionally, an exhibition highlighting Hà Nội’s UNESCO-recognized cultural heritage will showcase important sites and attractions such as the Thăng Long Citadel, the Temple of Literature, ca trù (ceremonial singing), and the Gióng Festival.

Through this vibrant celebration, the Cultural Festival for Peace promises to foster a deeper appreciation of Hà Nội's rich cultural heritage and strengthen the bonds among its diverse community, making it a memorable highlight in the capital's autumn festivities.
